DESCRIPTION:
“The Instructor” is a Hollywood-style comedy written by Dominykas Klajumas and Benas Lastauskas, made without the clichés of traditional Lithuanian cinema.
Martynas (Justinas Jankevičius) is an arrogant but good-hearted man from Vilnius who loses his driver’s licence through his own foolishness and cockiness. Brushing it off, Martynas once again manages to upset his pregnant fiancée, who leaves him and goes to stay with her parents.
Determined to win her back, the main character embarks on what initially seems like a simple journey to get his driving licence back. Along the way, he meets the Instructor (Dominykas Klajumas), an eccentric teacher at an even more eccentric driving school.
For Martynas, getting his licence back becomes the greatest challenge of his life, with the completely unhinged Instructor calling the shots. He will make Martynas cry, laugh, and blush with embarrassment — but also help him understand one simple truth:
Passing your driving test is hard. Keeping your nerves under control is even harder!
